Assistant Director, Editorial Services

UCF Title: Assistant Director, Advancement & Alumni Affairs

Position Number: 38400

Open: 8-10-2018 until filled              

The Assistant Director of Editorial Services is responsible for the creation and publication of content for UCF Advancement/Alumni Engagement and Annual Giving through social media accounts, email campaigns, websites, event scripts and other UCF Advancement communication.  Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience; or a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and four years of appropriate experience.  Preferences: Should be able to work on many projects simultaneously and be detail oriented.  Excellent oral and written communication skills are necessary.  Requires self-direction, tact, diplomacy and a clear, courteous and professional manner when dealing with the public.

 

Director for Advancement, Nicholson School of Communication and Media

UCF Title: Director Advancement & Alumni Affairs

The Director for Advancement serves as the Foundation liaison to the Nicholson School of Communication and Media. This position is charged with developing and implementing annual strategic fundraising plans focused on the School’s priorities and mission. With dual reporting lines to the Executive Director of the Nicholson School and the Executive Director of Advancement, Colleges and Units within the UCF Foundation, the Director oversees the development and implementation of a comprehensive major and principal gifts fundraising program while managing his/her own portfolio of at least 100+ prospects and donors.  Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and four years of appropriate experience; or a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and six years of appropriate experience. Preferences: Ability to effectively communicate, handle multiple priorities, and handle the pressure of deadlines.

 

Assistant Director, Donor Engagement

UCF Title: Assistant Director, Advancement & Alumni Affairs

Position Number: 39397

Open: 7-20-2018 until filled              

Manages the creation and implementation of individual, customized donor engagement plans and organizes a variety of donor recognition events for the University of Central Florida Advancement major gift donors. This position works closely with the Director of Donor Relations and Stewardship to advance the mission of the department to inform, engage and build relationships with all internal and external constituencies.  Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience; or a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and four years of appropriate experience.  Preferences: Advanced degree preferred with job-related experience developing and managing events for donor relations or fundraising in higher education.

 

Director for Advancement, the Burnett Honors College and Undergraduate Studies

UCF Title: Director Advancement & Alumni Affairs

Open: 7-6-2018 until filled                                            

Develops and implements yearly strategic fund raising plans for each assignment in collaboration with the Executive Director for Advancement and the academic liaisons that will meet established dollar goals.  Responsible for independently performing identification, qualification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship on prospects for the Burnett Honors College and the College of Undergraduate Studies.  Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and four years of appropriate experience; or a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and six years of appropriate experience. Preferences: Able to travel, attend and conduct meetings on and off campus, and make presentations before large and small groups. Demonstrate competence in oral and written communication. Demonstrate strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.

 

Associate Director of Development, College of Engineering and Computer Science

UCF Title: Associate Director, Advancement & Alumni Affairs

Open: 4-13-2018 until filled              

Develops and implements yearly strategic fundraising plans in collaboration with the executive director of development at the college.  Responsible for the identification, cultivation, and solicitation of major gifts from individuals, corporations, foundations, and professional groups in support of strategic program priorities as established for the college or unit.  Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and four years of appropriate experience; or a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and six years of appropriate experience. Preferences: Ability to effectively communicate, handle multiple priorities, and handle the pressure of deadlines.  Should be able to work frequent evenings weekends.  Ability to meet deadlines as established.
