Coordinator, Alumni Engagement

UCF Title: Coordinator, Administrative Services

Position Number: 39775

Open: 11-16-2018 until filled           

Coordinates the overall organizational needs of the Assistant Vice President of Alumni Engagement and supports the Alumni Engagement Team through administrative tasks. Maintains a complex calendar for the Assistant Vice President of Alumni Engagement and the Director of College Alumni Engagement which includes planning meetings, donor visits, internal and external meetings and events. Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization; or a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience. Preferences: Self-starter with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Proven communication skills, both verbal and written. Demonstrated ability to multi-task and maintain accuracy. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a complex organization. Flexibility to adjust to pressing needs as they develop. Flexibility in work hours to accommodate some evening and weekend events and occasional general overtime.

 

 

Assistant Director, Gift Administration

UCF Title: Assistant Director, Advancement & Alumni Affairs

Position Number: 39757

This position will be responsible for managing the gift administration process for UCF Advancement. The position will administer all Gift Administration initiatives in consultation with the UCF Foundation Legal Counsel. This includes assisting in the management of reporting, management of the gift agreement work flow, writing all gift agreements and handling of special projects.  Serves as a liaison among Gift Administration, University partners, Foundation Finance and Accounting, University counsel and Foundation Legal Counsel to support university advancement staff and development of gift agreements.  Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience; or a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and four years of appropriate experience. Preferences: Requires ability to think strategically. Excellent social skills, with groups as well as with individuals, are necessary. Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication/writing skills needed with proven ability to manage a variety of detailed projects simultaneously. Proven record of accuracy and attention to detail. Selected candidate will be well-organized, thorough and accurate in planning, preparation, and processing of work-related materials and activities.

 

Senior Application Specialist

UCF Title: Senior Application Specialist

This position serves as the integral resident expert of the Blackbaud CRM application (BBCRM). This pivotal role supports the donor management system which is the cornerstone of the infrastructure around which all development systems and processes are designed to support the information services which inform fundraising strategies. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and two years of information technology experience. Preferences:         

Selected candidate will be well-organized, thorough and accurate in planning, preparation, and processing of work-related materials and activities. Ability to meet deadlines as established; cooperative and communicates effectively with a variety of people. High level of interpersonal and organizational skills essential. Higher education or not-for-profit fundraising experience preferred. Experience with Blackbaud CRM and BBIS a plus.

 

Assistant Director of Alumni Engagement, College of Sciences

The Assistant Director of Alumni Engagement for the UCF College of Sciences develops and executes events and programs that increase alumni engagement and giving. This role is responsible for collaborating with colleagues within UCF Advancement, the UCF College of Sciences and other campus units to create and maintain pathways for alumni participation that leads to alumni giving. Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience; or a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and four years of appropriate experience. Preferences: Ideal candidate should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and be a superb editor, with demonstrated service orientation and diplomacy; the ability to multi-task; be highly organized and detail-oriented, effective organizational and time management skills; an independent worker with adept problem-solving and project management skills, a strategic and critical thinker; and have an enthusiastic and energetic attitude.

This role is responsible for collaborating with colleagues within UCF Advancement, the UCF Rosen College of Hospitality Management and other campus units to create and maintain pathways for alumni participation that leads to alumni giving. Associate Director, Regional Alumni Engagement

The Associate Director of Regional Alumni Engagement manages and directs UCF Alumni Engagement and Annual Giving initiatives that increase alumni engagement through a regional-based alumni program.  Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and four years of appropriate experience; or a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and six years of appropriate experience. Preferences: Ideal candidate should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and should be a superb editor with demonstrated service orientation and diplomacy; the ability to multi-task; be highly organized and detail-oriented, have effective organizational and time management skills; be an independent worker with adept problem-solving and project management skills, a strategic and critical thinker; and have an enthusiastic and energetic attitude. Able to foster relationships and build rapport.  Candidate should be familiar with Microsoft Office and have a high level of comfort with technology.  Candidate should have demonstrated experience working with databases, websites and social media.  Prior event experience preferred; prior alumni relations experience is a plus. Ability to work nights, weekends and frequent travel as required.

 

Associate Director, Alumni Professional Engagement

The Associate Director for Alumni Professional Engagement provides leadership and management for Advancement’s alumni professional engagement efforts, offering a comprehensive and innovative suite of services and programs that support individual and group counseling, in-person and virtual professional development, networking and mentoring opportunities and lifelong learning events.  Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and four years of appropriate experience; or a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and six years of appropriate experience. Preferences: Ability to effectively communicate, handle multiple priorities, and handle the pressure of deadlines.  Should be able to work frequent evenings weekends.  Ability to meet deadlines as established.  The ability to build and maintain relationships with alumni worldwide to expand UCF’s professional network and help alumni develop and leverage networks over a lifetime.  The ability to recruit and convene prominent alumni and internal and external stakeholders to speak at events to advance UCF’s mission of being America’s Partnership University.
