Coordinator, Principal Gifts

UCF Title: Coordinator, Administrative Services

Position Number: 39788

Open: 10-05-2018 until filled           

Provides administrative support and project management leadership to the Associate Vice President for Principal Gifts by monitoring and reporting on all principal prospects, and assist with activities associated with other projects and programs such as campaign management, and UCF Global. This position will work closely with principal prospects, university leadership Advancement staff, volunteers and board members. Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization; or a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience. Preferences: Self-starter with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Proven communication skills, both verbal and written. Demonstrated ability to multi-task and maintain accuracy. Computer experience and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power-point. Demonstrated ability to function as a team player. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a complex organization. Flexibility to adjust to pressing needs as they develop. Flexibility in work hours to accommodate some evening and weekend events and occasional general overtime. Outgoing personality – comfortable interfacing with VIPs.

 

Assistant Director of Alumni Engagement, College of Sciences

UCF Title: Assistant Director, Advancement & Alumni Affairs

The Assistant Director of Alumni Engagement for the UCF College of Sciences develops and executes events and programs that increase alumni engagement and giving. This role is responsible for collaborating with colleagues within UCF Advancement, the UCF College of Sciences and other campus units to create and maintain pathways for alumni participation that leads to alumni giving. Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience; or a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and four years of appropriate experience. Preferences: Ideal candidate should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and be a superb editor, with demonstrated service orientation and diplomacy; the ability to multi-task; be highly organized and detail-oriented, effective organizational and time management skills; an independent worker with adept problem-solving and project management skills, a strategic and critical thinker; and have an enthusiastic and energetic attitude.

 

Assistant Director of Alumni Engagement, Rosen College of Hospitality Management

Associate Director, Regional Alumni Engagement

The Associate Director of Regional Alumni Engagement manages and directs UCF Alumni Engagement and Annual Giving initiatives that increase alumni engagement through a regional-based alumni program.  Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and four years of appropriate experience; or a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and six years of appropriate experience. Preferences: Ideal candidate should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and should be a superb editor with demonstrated service orientation and diplomacy; the ability to multi-task; be highly organized and detail-oriented, have effective organizational and time management skills; be an independent worker with adept problem-solving and project management skills, a strategic and critical thinker; and have an enthusiastic and energetic attitude. Able to foster relationships and build rapport.  Candidate should be familiar with Microsoft Office and have a high level of comfort with technology.  Candidate should have demonstrated experience working with databases, websites and social media.  Prior event experience preferred; prior alumni relations experience is a plus. Ability to work nights, weekends and frequent travel as required.

 

Associate Director, Alumni Professional Engagement

UCF Title: Associate Director, Advancement & Alumni Affairs

The Associate Director for Alumni Professional Engagement provides leadership and management for Advancement’s alumni professional engagement efforts, offering a comprehensive and innovative suite of services and programs that support individual and group counseling, in-person and virtual professional development, networking and mentoring opportunities and lifelong learning events.  Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and four years of appropriate experience; or a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and six years of appropriate experience. Preferences: Ability to effectively communicate, handle multiple priorities, and handle the pressure of deadlines.  Should be able to work frequent evenings weekends.  Ability to meet deadlines as established.  The ability to build and maintain relationships with alumni worldwide to expand UCF’s professional network and help alumni develop and leverage networks over a lifetime.  The ability to recruit and convene prominent alumni and internal and external stakeholders to speak at events to advance UCF’s mission of being America’s Partnership University.

 

Assistant Director, Editorial Services

UCF Title: Assistant Director, Advancement & Alumni Affairs

The Assistant Director of Editorial Services is responsible for the creation and publication of content for UCF Advancement/Alumni Engagement and Annual Giving through social media accounts, email campaigns, websites, event scripts and other UCF Advancement communication.  Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience; or a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and four years of appropriate experience.  Preferences: Should be able to work on many projects simultaneously and be detail oriented.  Excellent oral and written communication skills are necessary.  Requires self-direction, tact, diplomacy and a clear, courteous and professional manner when dealing with the public.

 

Director for Advancement, Nicholson School of Communication and Media

UCF Title: Director Advancement & Alumni Affairs

The Director for Advancement serves as the Foundation liaison to the Nicholson School of Communication and Media. This position is charged with developing and implementing annual strategic fundraising plans focused on the School’s priorities and mission. With dual reporting lines to the Executive Director of the Nicholson School and the Executive Director of Advancement, Colleges and Units within the UCF Foundation, the Director oversees the development and implementation of a comprehensive major and principal gifts fundraising program while managing his/her own portfolio of at least 100+ prospects and donors.  Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and four years of appropriate experience; or a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and six years of appropriate experience. Preferences: Ability to effectively communicate, handle multiple priorities, and handle the pressure of deadlines.
