I already work here. Why should I give?

Your gift helps fund important programs at UCF. As a faculty or staff member, you know areas of need that may not be well-supported. Your participation says you believe in UCF and encourages the support of future donors.

How much should I give?

Every gift is important. Whatever you can give is meaningful and has a great impact on students and programs.

I already made a gift to UCF this year. Will that count toward the Faculty and Staff Campaign?

Yes. Any gift or pledge made by a UCF employee during the current fiscal year — July 1, 2017, to June 30, 2018 — will count.

Can I specify where my gift goes? 

Yes. You may designate your gift to support any program or fund. Funds are searchable by keyword or name on the online form. Or visit the recommended funds page.

Can I designate more than one area? 

Yes. You may give to multiple programs.

Is my gift tax-deductible? 

Yes. Your gift is eligible for tax deduction in accordance with IRS regulations during the calendar year that you make your gift. Consult your tax professional for more information.

Can I make my payroll deduction online?

Yes. You may make your gift using payroll deduction or a credit card. To make a payroll deduction email Carla Cordoba or call 407.882.1220.

Can I name UCF as a beneficiary in my estate?

Yes. You may designate the UCF Foundation, Inc., as a beneficiary to your life insurance policy, retirement plan or will. For more information, call 407.882.1220.

What if my spouse/DOMESTIC PARTNER works for a matching gift company?

If your spouse’s or domestic partner's employer participates in a matching gift program, complete the paper or online pledge form (each employer has different requirements), and return it to us. You may include it along with your contribution and pledge form, or you may submit it within a month of your donation. Can I make a gift to the Golden Knights Club (GKC) FOR THE PER SEAT DONATION OF MY SEASON TICKETS through the BELIEVE Faculty and Staff Campaign?

No. Please consult your tax advisor regarding recent tax reform; seat-based gifts to GKC are no longer eligible for 80 percent tax deductibility. Gifts to the GKC that are not associated with seats are still accepted through the Believe Campaign and are tax-deductible. Please contact the Athletics Ticket Office at 407.823.1000 with any questions.

When will I receive my tax receipt?

Payroll deduction — Your charitable contribution will appear on your W-2 form at the end of the year.
Check or credit card donations — You will receive an email receipt within 72 hours of the processing of your gift.

How are donors recognized?

All employees who make a gift during the fiscal year will receive a participation decal.

Thank You!

Last year's Believe Campaign saw a 13% increase in donors over the year before, with $1,010,644 raised. $65,727 was raised for First Generation Scholarships alone. The top areas supported were First Generation Scholarships, Area of Greatest Need, the Knights Helping Knights Pantry and the Student Emergency Fund.
