Support UCF Students in Need

Knights Helping Knights

The Knights Helping Knights Pantry is a student-run organization that provides food, water, clothing, linens and other housewares in times of need. Following Hurricane Irma, the pantry’s shelves are nearly bare. Over the last five days, everything has been given away to students in need. The pantry could use our help now more than ever.

A generous alumnus has committed up to $25,000 in matching funds to the pantry. For every dollar donated to the pantry by members of the UCF community, he will give another dollar — doubling the impact of your gift.

Thank you for your generosity in this time of need.

Please note that in the event we receive enough gifts to meet the hurricane-related needs of our students, additional donations will support the ongoing work of the Knights Helping Knights Pantry to assist UCF students in need.

KNIGHTS HELPING KNIGHTS PANTRY

The Knights Helping Knights Pantry began from a class project in a first-year LEAD Scholars course in 2009. UCF students wanted to create a food pantry where fellow students would have access to free necessities if they fell on hard times.

Students in need do not have to apply or pay for services, and may take up to five food items per day. The Pantry is supported in part by the UCF Student Union and the Student Government Association but private support is always needed.
