FOUNDATION EVENTS

 

The UCF Foundation celebrates donors who have achieved milestones in their giving to the university.

Each spring, members of the President’s Circle are invited to an on-campus reception to allow university leadership to express their appreciation for the vital role these donors play.

Likewise, members of the H. Trevor Colbourn Society and donors whose annual giving is in excess of $25,000 gather each year at the Burnett House for a reception to honor them and to celebrate the presentation of the President’s Award, given annually to a distinguished donor.

The President’s Partnership Award is also presented annually to a corporation whose partnership with UCF has immeasurably furthered the university’s mission.

davis family dedication at lake claire

The recreation area around Lake Claire was renamed the William E. Davis and Mary Jo Davis Recreation Area at Lake Claire, in honor of William E. and Mary Jo Davis, one of the 89 founding families who pledged money and donated land to secure the site for a new university in 1964.
