Associate Vice President for Advancement Services

UCF Title: Associate Vice President, Advancement/Alumni Affairs

Position Number: 39805

Open: 1-13-2017 until filled

 

This position is responsible for development and management oversight of the university’s fundraising database and four major program areas – information technology services, biographical records, gift processing and gift administration, and donor stewardship. Also, a member of the Office of Advancement’s Executive Leadership Team.  This role provides expertise and works in collaboration with Records and Gifts, Advancement Legal Services, and UCF Foundation Accounting and Financial Services to ensure business practices for gift accounting, receipting, and gift agreements are in compliance with federal and state law, Internal Revenue Service regulations, and Council for the Advancement of Education and Council for Aid to Education standards. Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and seven years of appropriate experience; or a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and nine years of appropriate experience. Preferences: The incumbent must be collaborative and adept at working in a team oriented environment. Have expertise in and significant knowledge of best practices in fundraising, preferably in higher education, and be experienced in the identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of major and principal gift donors. Knowledgeable of constituent information systems, with a preference for knowledge of Blackbaud CRM.

Project Manager     

UCF Title: PROJECT MANAGER

Position Number: 32365

Open: 11-11-2016 until filled

 The project manager will oversee the conversion process from the Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge database to the Blackbaud CRM database including implementation. The project manager will leverage product and industry knowledge to support the development of project plans and tools (i.e., documentation) as well as the delivery of solutions. This position will act as a primary liaison between all internal and external parties, ensuring transparent and efficient communication and appropriate prioritization of resources. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and three years of information technology experience.  Preferences: Preferred candidate will have proficiency with Blackbaud products, relational databases and previous software conversion experience. Selected candidate will be well-organized, thorough and accurate in planning, preparation, and processing of work-related materials and activities.

Technical Trainer  

UCF Title: Coordinator Education/Training Program

Position Number: 38208

Open: 12-09-2016 until filled            

This position will be dedicated to supporting the technical training needs of the UCF Advancement staff and constituents in UCF departments that utilize Blackbaud software (i.e. CRM and Financial Edge). Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization; or a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience.  Preferences: Selected candidate will be well-organized, thorough and accurate in planning, preparation, and processing of work-related materials and activities. Ability to meet deadlines as established. Experience or familiarity with Blackbaud products is preferred. Proficiency to work independently with limited supervision. Able to attend and conduct meetings on and off campus, and make presentations before large and small groups.

Associate Director, Alumni Engagement and Annual Giving, College of Medicine

Supports UCF Alumni Engagement and Annual Giving, by developing and executing events and programs that also support the College of Medicine through a regional, college-based and constituent chapters and clubs program. This role develops and implements yearly strategic fundraising plan for each assignment in collaboration with the College Development Officer and will conduct appropriate identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship activities for gifts primarily for the College and University of Central Florida.  Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and four years of appropriate experience; or a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and six years of appropriate experience.  Preferences: Prior event experience preferred; prior alumni relations experience is a plus. Ability to work nights, weekends and frequent travel as required.  Ideal candidate should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and should be a superb editor with demonstrated service orientation and diplomacy; the ability to multi-task; be highly organized and detail-oriented.

IT Business Analyst           

UCF Title: IT Business Analyst

Analyzes business needs by exploring relationships in collections of information and by holding discussions and requirements gathering sessions with other Advancement members in order to provide unified Business Intelligence solutions for stakeholders.  Evaluates, designs, builds, and maintains business intelligence solutions using tools such as SQL Server 2014, SSRS, SSIS, SSAS, and Tableau.  Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and one year of information technology experience.  Preferences: Expertise with Windows operating systems, SQL Server 2014 and its BI tools, Tableau, Blackbaud fundraising software products, services, and SDKs, and Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Access, and Word.

Assistant Director, Annual Giving

Coordinates the development efforts including the management, administrative direction, coordination, and control of activities of young alumni, programming for former student athletes, acquisition programming and personal solicitation.  This position will also lead engagement and development efforts for Young Alumni and Varsity Knights.  Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience; or a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and four years of appropriate experience.  Preferences: The ability to multi-task; be highly organized and detail-oriented, effective organizational and time management skills; an independent worker with adept problem-solving and project management skills; Knowledgeable with donor-based software; able to locally travel and present in small and large group settings and have an enthusiastic and energetic attitude. 

   

  UCF Knight Line Student Callers

Do you enjoy talking to new people? Would you like to raise money for the university? We are looking for student callers to help raise funds for UCF. In a fun and supportive environment, students call alumni, parents and friends of the university and ask for donations. Students work two weekday shifts between Monday and Thursday from 5 - 8:45 p.m. and one Sunday shift, either 12:45 - 4:30 p.m. or 5:00 - 8:45 p.m.
