Senior Executive Secretary

UCF Title: Senior Executive Secretary

The Senior Executive Secretary provides personalized professional and administrative support members of the fundraising staff.  This position serves as liaison to internal campus relations and external business organizations and industry associations to assist with multiple ongoing projects, scheduling and prioritizing work for maximum effectiveness.  Minimum Qualifications: A high school diploma and four years of appropriate experience. Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience. Attainment of a score of at least 35 cwpm on an approved typing test. If minimum requirements of the position do not require post high school education, an applicant is not required to provide the information on the application.  Preferences: Ability to create presentation materials and be highly proficient in the use of Microsoft PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel for scheduling and reporting. High attention to detail. Strong organizational and planning skills.

Associate Director, Alumni Board Relations and Development

The Associate Director for Alumni Board Relations and Development manages all aspects of the Alumni Engagement and Annual Giving board meetings including planning and organizing committee and full board meetings. Works with various members of the UCF Advancement team to coordinate all logistics for meetings and serves as backup to the UCF Foundation Board liaison. Contracts with vendors, invites guest speakers and coordinates the production and timely distribution of materials to board and committee members.  Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and four years of appropriate experience; or a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and six years of appropriate experience. Preferences: Able to work frequent evenings. Ability to meet deadlines as established. Ability to be cooperative and communicate effectively with a variety of people. High level of interpersonal and organizational skills essential.

Assistant Director, Prospect Management

As a member of the prospect development team, the Assistant Director of Prospect Management is responsible for the effective management, measurement, and analysis of the movement of prospects through the fundraising cycle. The Assistant Director works closely with advancement staff to provide strategic insights into prospect and portfolio management in order to build and maintain constituent relationships, and plays a role in the overall success of UCF’s advancement enterprise.  Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience; or a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and four years of appropriate experience. Preferences: Experience with Blackbaud CRM or a similar relational database required.  Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication/writing skills required with proven ability to manage a variety of detailed projects simultaneously.  Proven record of accuracy and attention to detail.

Associate Director, Alumni Engagement & Annual Giving, College of Business Administration

Supports UCF Alumni Engagement and Annual Giving, by developing and executing events and programs that also support the College through a regional, college-based and constituent chapters and clubs program. This role develops and implements yearly strategic fundraising plan for each assignment in collaboration with the College Development Officer and will conduct appropriate identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship activities for annual gifts primarily for the College and University of Central Florida.  Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and four years of appropriate experience; or a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and six years of appropriate experience. Preferences: Ideal candidate should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and should be a superb editor with demonstrated service orientation and diplomacy; the ability to multi-task; be highly organized and detail-oriented, have effective organizational and time management skills; be an independent worker with adept problem-solving and project management skills, a strategic and critical thinker; and have an enthusiastic and energetic attitude.

Assistant Director, Gift Administration

The Assistant Director, Gift Administration will be responsible for managing the gift administration process for UCF Advancement. This role will administer all Gift Administration initiatives in consultation with the Associate Vice President for Advancement Services. This includes assisting in the management of reporting and audits, management of the gift agreement workflow, writing all gift agreements, handling of special projects, data management and reporting that impact donor satisfaction and fundraising success.  Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience; or a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and four years of appropriate experience. Preferences: Requires ability to think strategically. Excellent social skills, with groups as well as with individuals, are required. Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication/writing skills required with proven ability to manage a variety of detailed projects simultaneously. Proven record of accuracy and attention to detail. Selected candidate will be well-organized, thorough and accurate in planning, preparation, and processing of work-related materials and activities.

Responsible for developing and executing events and programs that support alumni engagement.  Works with UCF Advancement leadership to develop and execute programming that achieves annual and long-term strategic plan goals for alumni participation. Preferences: Frequent nights and weekends. Able to travel, attend and conduct meetings on and off campus, and make presentations before large and small groups.

IT Business Analyst

UCF Title: IT Business Analyst

Analyzes business needs by exploring relationships in collections of information and by holding discussions and requirements gathering sessions with other Advancement members in order to provide unified Business Intelligence solutions for stakeholders.  Evaluates, designs, builds, and maintains business intelligence solutions using tools such as SQL Server 2014, SSRS, SSIS, SSAS, and Tableau.  Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and one year of information technology experience.  Preferences:                Expertise with Windows operating systems, SQL Server 2014 and its BI tools, Tableau, Blackbaud fundraising software products, services, and SDKs, and Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Access, and Word.

 

 

 

      UCF Knight Line Student Callers

Do you enjoy talking to new people? Would you like to raise money for the university? We are looking for student callers to help raise funds for UCF. In a fun and supportive environment, students call alumni, parents and friends of the university and ask for donations. Students work two weekday shifts between Monday and Thursday from 5 - 8:45 p.m. and one Sunday shift, either 12:45 - 4:30 p.m. or 5:00 - 8:45 p.m.
